I was just thinking that it could be great and interesting for all of us if you make your own post in "discussions générales sur la pêche" Wink

You've just have to spot "nouveau sujet" (new subject) and then you write your text !!!

There you could talk about the way you fish (rods, reels, lure, anything else...) and wich kind of fish you look for in Hungary or in any other land you went to...And don't forget to send pictures !!!

Hello guys,

Long time no see. I am finally in France, and looking for some fishing in the next couple of weeks. I would definately appreciate, if you could please help me with the local regulations, permits etc.
I am live in south west paris, really close to versailles, and want to check some local spots, for any kinds of predator fishes.

let's start by the beginning :
Permits are paid for one department like for Yvelines in your case for example. The cost is about 65€ by year, and give the right to four rods by anglers.
When you have bought this permit, you can buy an additionnal stamp (EGHO) (18€) to fish in 67 other french departments including the others 'Parisian' departments.
You can buy it in all fishin shops, which could give you some other information.

I'm really sorry for two things:

to find spot around Paris maybe RCA and Redjo can help you...
if you live near Versailles go the west and try rivers you will cross, hazard sometimes is good for fishing !!! and if you 've got time go near Chartres in the Eure River, it's 100 km from Paris, its nice there and less poluted...
